250watt radiator element

Found one of these in my old mans shed.

Anyone used one on their water tanks?

250w won't do much to a tank of water.

Might be worth testing
It doesn't have to make the water hot it just has to stop it from freezing.

brought them last year but cant remember how powerful  ::)  lovely warm water this morning ( 500 ltrs )
