It's Movember! Are there any other Mo-Bro's out there? New
« on: November 02, 2012, 05:57:59 pm »
Hi everyone

I've seen some dubious looking Mo's on some of our members but have never known if they were for charity or not

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

If you'd like to register to take part and grow your own Mo you can do so here: http://uk.movember.com

If you'd just like to donate something to a good cause then please feel free to do so here: http://mobro.co/mikeboxall

Whilst we're talking about good causes, I'm reminded about a conversation I had at the recent VanFest with John Brydon who some of you may know from the industry. I promised we'd try to do something to support his charity Kirstys Kids http://www.kirstyskids.org Please do have a look at the website and if anyone has any ideas on how we may be able to help this charity on a longer term basis please let me know.

I know there always seems to be someone raising money for something but all these causes are worthy of your support if you are able, no matter how small a contribution you can make.

Many thanks

I'm sort of at that stage as well but because I've made a bit of a thing about it I think I'm pretty much committed to it now!

Looks like its me and you then Dean!

Me too, but mine's the beard as well (If I'm not shaving the top lip I'm stuffed if I'm going to do the bottom one).  Looking very scruffy at the moment - happy to bung up a photo at the end.
