Hi Ian
I've had the Omni-vac for over 3 years - we brought the full kit with genny and it has genuinely paid for itself 10 fold
yes it's big - but we have never ever needed ladders to finish a job or clear the downpipes out and the main thing
that is overlooked by the '1500 watt brigade' is i can have a 25 mtr hose and still suck out a gutter so on most domestics i don't even need to move the vac

- we even had a commercial where a 60 mtr hose was required and again the vac
sucked up water and sludge with no problem.
we also you the 6.5 KVa genny - large and heavy but it never leaves the van - i roll it to side door and start it up !
over all the time we've had it i have had 1 motor go - this was replaced at £75.00 through a secoto supplier online
If i was starting out would i buy Omni-vac - yes, but only if the money was genuinely spare and i knew i was promoting
the service heavily.
would i buy a 1500 kit - not on your life !
but a really good compromise would be the 3000 watt systems - i think these should be powerful enough but not got the
high end price tag of Omni-vac
hope this helps
