IT could be circulation problems I had that when I did gutter of a ladder. My feet and legs would pain.

Cheers for advice, I'll look into the drink, and perhaps do some stretching, I've got the b&q ladders, with fat rungs, there comfy to stand on, so don't think it's the ladders them selves...

How about a visit to the physiotherapist? They tend to know more about muscles etc, especially sports physios. I don't think they are that expensive either. Worth checking out properly rather than assuming.

Got to agree with Robbo, Ive been cleaning 30 years now, and the only time i remember my legs aching was within the first 3 months of doing the job.
  Good luck.

Been window cleaning 5 years, it used to happen every now and then but this last year is getting more frequent,

Statins? No idea what that is....!
Statins are tablets you take to reduce cholesterol.
Anyone can have high cholesterol even slim jims like you cos it's made by your liver. Mine makes too much, so much in fact that without the tablets I wouldn't see 50! :o

Worth checking but especially if lots of people died early in your family from heart problems.
Sorry boring comment.
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence

i used to get it most days when i was 100% trad.its all the ladder climbing mate!!

i dont get it now im WFP.my shoulders and arms dont ache either due to very light carbon poles and brushes!

i would knock the gym on the head as well if i were you and go swimming instead as its less strain on your muscles and good for circulation and general fitness.

best wishes

Yeah my family is all pretty healthy, may just be all the ladder work, might take up swimming, don't train legs in the gym, so don't think the gym makes too much difference, I'll ask the doc about cholesterol though!
