hate the jobs that you have no access to rear and have to drag line thru house done one yesterday beige carpets ....took shoes off cleaned hose prior to going in ,son turned on pump whilst i was walking thru hose on, water on carpet custie saw the funny side of it fortunatly ....What do you guys do Backpack ?

you need a tap on your hose.

i don't go though houses, too much hassle.
the ones i have done i wiped off the hose, and put a towel over the brush.

I did one once - never again; first you've got to arrange for them to be in and second there are the problems you've experienced with trying to avoid messing up their house. I don't have a backpack though and I'm sure that would solve the mess issue but they still have be in or course.

I wear overshoes, use a backpack, I call the night before so no problem with them not being there, and I charge extra

i have three all next to each other,i only charge £8.00 a house its basically 3 small windows i the front and 3 in the back i do the 3 in less then 30 minutes and earn £24.00 ...........but if i came across this again i would now say no

I charge £15 for these type of houses, so £45 for 30 minutes work.

Get a cheap backpack mate you wouldn't even have to refill it to do that many windows
You'll probably find that there are more jobs you do that it will be of benefit for

I use a gardiners backpack on a £9 ikea trolley. Fits perfectly and easy to remove if i need to. I only bought it for one job but sometimes it makes other jobs a bit easier

slip on boots and a backpack, don't bother with a trolley (carry it through = wheels could be wet or muddy )
I often see other firms unreeling all that hose to go through someones house, I'm on to the next one by the time they've set up, make life easy for yourself. Simon

it is a pain walking through but the custy always has to be in so we always get payed !

I find these types of jobs can pay well if you price well,  a bacpacks a MUST.

i use argos trolley, but getting abit tired now, just looked at the ikea one, looks ok, them wheels look abit hard materials, do they make alot of noise like shopping trolleys do ?     thanks john.
