Commercial Work - Contracts?
« on: February 03, 2006, 05:06:24 pm »
Hi everyone,

For those of you that have commercial work, do you have contracts drawn up and signed for it?

If so, does anyone have a contract template that they could email me?

Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy

Most of our commercial work is shops and so on and no contract is really needed.

We have a few larger commercial jobs - one is worth mabe £9000 pa and even for that we don't have a contract as such. We, and them, just go by the original quote.

We do the work, invoice them at the agreed interval, and they send a cheque.

Personnaly, I wouldn't worry about a contract as such. It's too complex.

Cheers

KJG

Sorry, I'm the same as Rosskeva. I don't have a contract for any of my commercial jobs, even the biggest. However, all mine are private business'. Council/government work would probably require one?
