Petrol spill in car footwell

what would you do to remove this?

I'm thinking just a very thorough rinse???

If its the smell your concerned about then dont worry.  It wont last much more than a day or 2.  Certainly extracting it wouldnt hurt.  Apply some powerburst via a trigger sprayer, allow to dwell for 5 mins then extract as normal.  Get plenty of dry strokes as especially in this colder weather it may take a while to dry out and as theres no air movement in the car it takes longer than usual.

Thanks Richie, went in with Powerburst and citraboost. Lots of rinsing. Clensan over just for luck. Hopefully okay

Done the same job once but with diesel, outcome was very smelly hoses and waste tank for ages..never again!

How unusual. What ratio did you dilute the diesel in your sprayer? How long did you leave it to dwell?

Diesel is great for getting cac off mountain bike chains & gears.

It so is lol, used it many a times on my mb chain, especially when it's that claggy clay type muck
