This has got me intrigued now!
How many have problems with this - I suspect quite a lot of us.
My pole hose stays mainly straight and untangled day after day - the wifes is like a coiled up snake at the end of every day and sometimes we have to stop during the day to uncoil it

.
I thought we may have different batches of hose but when I broke my pole the other day I used hers, while she tradded the downs - at the end of the day her pole hose was as straight and uncoiled as mine is usually.
So it's not the hose.
Either it gets twisted when raising the pole or twisted when lowering the pole by turning the brush head or pole sections relative to each other.
What we need is a John Guest connector on the pole hose that swivels just like the elbow connector on the reel.
The best way i've found to untangle it is to disconnect it from the fixed connector on the brush head and stretch it out and then the twists can then be released.
