Which is Best for Start Up Trolley or Van based System
« on: September 21, 2012, 08:58:26 am »
It looks to me that the most economical way o test the market is a trolley based system avoids having van full of equipment all the time so ou can use it for any other job that might come along.

But you have hazzle of getting trolley on and off van, I presume at times it will be full or half full of water etc

Do not know if they are as powerful as van based.

The advantage to me is that on traffic free housing areas and lines of Terrance houses  they are ideal

No hose over  foot  path etc

But it also occurs to me van based will quicker and look more processional.

Or you could have a trolley system and leave in van and only use as as a portable when you cannot get van to other parts of the property.

If you are looking for a low entry system to go into window cleaning I would recommend a backpack with a suitcase type trolley.

If you are targeting terrace houses, you will find that the fronts are great for cleaning, but access to the back can be a nightmare, normally you will find that they are either overgrown with plant life, or the householder store their junk in it.

The other problem is that on some terrace houses you go down the alley and have access into the back garden of the house you need to clean, but you will also have some where you go down the alleyway and acroos 3 or 5 houses to the house you want.

A backpack that can be detachable from the trolley is the perfect entry system into wfp, imo.

This is what dazmond does has a trolley but
Now uses it as a van mount. He just drops the pipe
From the trolley on the water tank.

At least I think he does...
keep it simple

Depends on location of terraced houses , I have a 2 rows of terraced houses with about 20 houses in them ,

I just park at one end and get them clashed off in no time never had any probs with over 100 mtrs of microbore , It was a pain doing them with trolley, Mike

dont do terraced houses,problem solved.
select your customers? for access
go for van mount,do it yourself for a fraction of the price
lets be honest all you need is a
tank
pump
controller
battery
reel/hose
pole/accessories
how you produce water depends on the ppm of your water
top of my head £1000
