Leather cleaning with microsplitters.
« on: September 18, 2012, 08:23:09 pm »
was abit bored today so mixed up some microsplitter and water in a bucket and cleaned a seat cushion with a large sponge on my cream leather suite, was amazed with the results, has anyone else had great results and if so what method did you use?

Just be careful that the salts in M/s don't dry out the leather Bob..

Use a proper leather cleaner unless you have identified the finish is sound or you will then have problems using m/s

I spoke to andy of LTT a few years ago about the micro splitter thing because I over sprayed onto a leather suite, he told me that they had tested micro splitters and used a conditioner afterwards and could find no adverse effects.. But best to stick to proper leather cleaners
