Need to get myself some safety signage..

what would you chaps recommend and where from (is there one sign fits all or do you require all the seprate ones like overhead working  trailing hoses window cleaners at work etc..)

Don't be surprised when a passer by trips over your warning sign; it's happened so often to me it just can't be a one off; I'm thinking of getting a warning sign for my warning signs!!!!

Seriously though what value is it putting out warning signs?
As miscontractcleaner says putting a sign out is putting out another obstacle!
Legally are we obligated to put out signage?

I think we are mate though I wouldn't put my house on it. At least by putting out signs the dozy, blind sods wondering our streets have no excuse for tripping over your hoses!!!!

On our local news this morning it said insurance claims against the local council for potholes/dodgy pavements etc had never been higher than before. Why take the risk? Anyone ever heard of someone tripping over hose and having a claim up?

All reasonable steps to minimise the risk.. Signs are just part of that ... I want to run my set up right , safe and properly... others may not... i believe doing it right and proper gains you better work and better customer type,,, serving me right so far..

I bought a couple of Ungers heavy duty ones years ago which said Caution Trailing Hoses, Trip Hazard, Window cleaning in progress. But these need to also include a warning of falling objects, so I trip to a local sign writer is planned for the near future to upgrade these.

i think it looks a lot more profesional , i always imagine a custy telling there friends , [ oh they had yellow vests on , and they even had cones ,very profesional ] oh and he was a bit of a hunk as well

I would have thought that a hazard sign is one of your control measures on your risk assessment to prevent people tripping on your hose.
