certain windows like the old aluminium white powdered windows can be a nightmare if the frames are oxidised, and some plastic windows with very dodgy rubber seals although you can get these good if you avoid scrubbing the top inch too much and rinsing half inch from the top of seal.
old flakey painted wooden windows that are rotting a bit are also not good esp if oxidised.i try my best to avoid frames on these with wfp on upper windows and trad the ground floors.
very old leaded windows are also not good really as they leak but i never get any complaints.
luckily these types of windows on my round a very few and far between.
i do trad some doors and ground floor windows in tight spaces as i find it easier than trying to pole them.more so in winter when its cold to avoid too much water splashing around that could freeze.
there is always room for a squeegee every day on my work although its only around 10-20 % but i like to keep my hand in with trad cleaning.mixes it up a bit and i quite enjoy it!!

best wishes
