Re-newing hose..

Hi chaps, looking at getting some new hose for both my reels as there wearing a bit thin.. Really like the look of the thermobore but my current hose is 8mm and the thermbore is 6mm..
Anyone had any experience in going from 8mm to 6mm hose.. Flow wise etc??
Also some one mentioned that they kept then 8mm fitting and squeezed the 6mm thermobore on to them as its quite soft to handle, any elaboration on this would be much appreciated
Cheers guys.

I use thermobore, very good hose with hot & cold water, more supple than regular hose.
Ive never used 8mm hose, but can assure you theres plenty of flow with the thermobore.

Hi Spikey
I got sent 6mm by mistake instead of 8mm by Gardiners but decided to keep it - glad it did.
The fittings will do either just put the hose in hot water and squeeze it on.
The microbore is much lighter and we have been running 2 hoses from 1 sureflo 100 psi pump with no problems.
