First action is always flush it through with hand tool and plain water.  That way you are only treating the tiny amount of contaminant that will still be there after a good... errrrr... flush :D

Stain pro is so clingy, takes about a million extraction passes to get out of a carpet and can take the colour out.

Hi Guys

I would flush first, then use an enzymes prespotter to break the protein bond.

Then extract hot and be prepared for a very slight brown area caused by the iron in the blood products excreted in poo.
This can be removed with rust remover.

Did one yesterday, 30 mins all done.

Cheers

I've been using the Stain Pro / Cleansan technique in old folks homes for thirty years and have never had a problem with it, perhaps it's my eyes ;D
Horses for courses, me thinks.

Hector,
Not nice that, I'm sensitive to cutting remarks like that  :'(

i never understand the problem & questions asked about excrement, once we get passed the fact that its the waste product out of a human ( and the possible health risks that might be involved) then its a just a stain that needs to be dealt with.

it is just biological..... almost  the same as if some one had dropped a bowl of beef stew & dumpling on the carpet,  but we don't have any questions about removing stew & dumplings, but the removal process is almost the same

so wear IPE and treat it as if you had spilt some stew..... which in our house means calling in the dog to eat the solids :o :o :o
