Messers are messers. Ive got some detatched houses with connys for a fiver and still get sarky comments from one or the other spouse about only being there five minutes.

Just a thought though, There is a need to appreciate that having a shiner is not always a unanimous decision. How many of your spouses purchases do you agree with and more importantly how would you feel if she landed you with the bill?

In my expererience its the women that want the windows done and most blokes either dont care or have had their pride dented coz really they should be doing it. Add to that the wife will invariably tap the hubby up for a tenner when you call, You have in his eyes effectively had his kebab/beer/f*g money away, and thus, as there is not a damn thing the poor bloke can do about it, hes taking the dog out and telling you what he cant tell his wife.

I would take it on the chin, go back and be nice to the wife and wind up the hubby at every opportunity.

Maybe showing my age in my day a fAg was something you smoked and not an offensive word that needed censoring.

You may be right about the price but there windows we're very very dirty obviously not been done for a long time .
He wanted them
Done for four quid as his ex cleaner apparently did them for that .

He had no answer when I asked where his old cleaner is and weather he was insured or not .

In my opinion he didn't exist or it was many years ago .

Exactly £4 seems low, and its likley the other windy has gone out of trade or just dumped him who knows.

i would say first clean £10 then maybe offer it for £6 but never mind now,
