Ive the white brushes for my host machine which are usually fine for agitation but on some rugs and wool carpets Im convinced the softer gold brushes would be better.

Who sells them apart from Host and do you find the gold are good for oriental rugs or too soft.

I use golds on orientals as you mention the whites are too harsh, the golds are lovely and soft. Only host sell them, unless you can pick a 2nd hand pair up.
