Mike why do you need a replacement pump?

Wouldn't a re-seal do the job?

Did mine recently, it's quite simple.

Goron,

How simple?

where did you get the seals from? & how long did it take.

stripping out a pump head is probably the only job I've never done, so I'm a little unsure about attempting  it

Hi Mike

You can get the seals from hydramaster they are on their site

www.hydramaster.co.uk

Hydra Pump - Hi Temp. Seal Kit

They are expensive for what they are though.

The job took me about an hour altogether and i took the pump completely off the machine as the oil seals needed replacing as well and i wanted to clean out the cranckcase. You shouldn't need to change the valves. I do have instructions for it, if you like i can email them to you but tried to email you earlier and the address you've got on here doesn't work!

let me know.

Cheers Goron

sorry  Goron, I decided as I was going to just buy a replacement pump I'd strip down the pump head, it was a piece of cake. ordered some new seal from Hydramaster this morning,

but as I was driving betreen jobs I saw a pressure washer sales & service centre so I called in and he had some seals so I bought them,

replaced mine and the pump still did'nt build up any pressure :'( :'(

this afternoon Hydramaster rang me and left a message on my ansamachine that a new pump would cost £240 +vat so I will ring them tomorrow and order a new pump.

this machine is a neglegted machine that has been in a warehouse for yonks, it has suffered some severe frost damage, so far its had a new supply pump, new fuel pump and tomorrow it will have a new water pump. when I've finished it will be like new :) :)

And then it will be for sale to the highest bidder!!

£240 is a very good price. didn't you get any pressure whatsoever?

Cheers Goron

none ???

the water just sprinkled out and the pressure guage read zero, I've fitted a another pump so i could check it was the pump causing the problem and everything worked fine, so it must be a faulty pump

The last time I purchased a pump from ashbys for my portable it cost me almost that much  :o and only lasted 6 months  >:(

Cant believe how cheap a new pump for your Petrol TM is :D

Will it be a difficult job to fit it?
Amazed

4 bolts and change over the pully wheel :)

remember a T/m pump is just a pump not a pump & drive motor as used by a portable.
