Grafter clamps
« on: June 14, 2012, 04:45:53 pm »
I have just purchased a grafter clamp off ebay. Looked absolutely fine and almost new. Anyway I have never used the Grafter and have always used Gardiner Poles but thought this seemed like a bargain.

Used it for the first time today - wish I had read the threads about Grafter's on here first. Clamp No.2 has snapped after 5 mins use. It looks like it's glued onto the pole. Can anyone tell me how I can go about buying a new clamp and fitting it - assuming the old clamp is removable?

I recently brought a full system from ionics /pure2o including grafter pole .

Top clamp broke after about four or five uses so could be a quality issue there .

When I told them ( half three in the afternoon ) they sent foc a new clamp and glue and it arrived the next day !
Good customer service I think .

The old on will twist /pull off with a bit of force as it's a flexible rubber glue then just clean up the pole and glue new one on with pu18 glue which they sent me with the clamp .
Hope this helps
