Merlin Setup
« on: June 16, 2012, 08:46:31 am »
Hi All,

I'm just about to put my new Merlin RO together... It says to lubricate the O rings with some silicone lubricant - which I haven't got - Is it really necessary?

If it is I'll have to go and get some!   :-\

A tiny smear of vaseline will do Andy, its only to "ease" the O rings into the socket...

Do you have some of that?  ;)  ;D

They used to have a satchet of silicone grease included in the box.
Either they've stopped doing this or forgotten.

Silly me - There is some in the box.

I was being good and reading the instructions before unpacking everything  :)
