which parts are best
« on: June 14, 2012, 04:10:42 pm »
Hi guys , I am hoping you experienced chaps can help me. I am in the process of making myself a trolley system that will carry 2  x 25 litre barrels. What I am after is a good pump , and a good battery. Also , as I have read this somewhere , I will be putting my gear in a trailer and may at times use the trolley system with extension hose from the trailer without taking the trolley out so the equipment I am after would have to be suitable for that too, cheers  and awaiting replies, Ted

202A clip on    KSR80   12   4.00   75   2.6   £38.00   ( this one will pump up to 2 nd floor and use less power than the next one, and pump 2.6 litres per min )

This pump will pump more water at 4 litres a min.
203 Clip on elbow fitting to 8mm barb.   ESR25L   12   5.1   100   5   £41.50

THIS BATTERY WILL GIVE YOU A DAYS WORK AND COULD EVEN USE TWO TO EXTEND YOUR WORK TIMEhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-12AH-Battery-12-Volt-12-Ah-Battery-/261034828242?pt=UK_Computing_Uninterruptible_Power_Supplies&hash=item3cc6e361d2#ht_500wt_922

THESE BATTERIES WILL BE MUCH LIGHTER THAN A CAR OR LEASURE BATTERY  YET GIVING YOU A LONG WORKING AND YOU WILL NEED A SMART CHARGER OF E BAY TO KEEP THE CHARGED AND IN OPTIMIME WORKING ORDER. I AM USING THEM AND FIND THEM GOOD. Very good prices.

You could get the KRS80 battery pack with pump for £150,  but be warned it is from china and is a crop spaying unit you will have buying other fittings to make it work for wfp .

I bought one last year and ended up sending it back due to pressure switch not working properly and problems with leaks and pack filling up with water with electrics in not good IMHO  it aint worth £150 ,

Because of problems i could'nt work and lost over £300 in wages plus he would'nt refund me for P & P AND TOOK 4 DAYS FOR HIM TO SORT OUT REFUND , As he was to busy to check the unit over when he got it back i used a next day courier service ,

He was more interested in other things and going away in his caravan . Mike

If you are adamant on using a trailer why dont you just fit a tank in the trailer along with pump box and put a lid on trailer far more practical and SECURE ,

And get 100 meters of microbore , Used a trolley for over 3yrs and best think i ever did was get rid and go truck mount , Mike
