They do not look like anything I have on my shelves and there are plenty.

What unit are they off? There should be a model no somewhere on the casing.

There are various makes and models that use these, imperial electric 6461, and various Ametek italian motors.

I don't do cheap motors esp Italian!!

 ::) turns out these cheap motors are near exact replicas of vacs I've paid nearly 3 times as much for (imperial electric) and which have lasted longer than the aforementioned.  Just  saying that cheap doesn't always denote poor value.

Qualtex sell them, ask them who your nearest qualtex dealer is..
