Extracta Exel vac pressure
« on: June 11, 2012, 02:04:38 pm »
Hi.

Does anyone know what the correct suction pressure should be showing on my panel of dials when both vac motors are running.

I'm not sure if my machine is under performing in terms of the amount of suction when removing the cleaning solution from the carpet.

Mine runs at just over 200 mbar (when hand placed over suction)

Which does not mean a lot.....
It is the reading when actually cleaning that is meaningful, and that depends on the floor tool being used and the type of carpet and how much water is being put down.
Realistically, with a decent pair of 3 stage vacs you are looking at 5-7".
God must love stupid people---He made so many.
