Hello Dave.

Some trolleys you work close to the trolley so easy just to switch on and off from the trolly. You may have a trolley with a 10/15 metres of hose like the Gardiner Trolley system. You could put an Aqua-daptor on the top of your pole if you find yourself working further away from the trolley. Or put a flow value inline.

Is this what you mean?

you can also just put a tap at the end of the trolley hose and shut it off this way, this is the cheapest option too also allows you to still get water from the trolley when pole is disconnected, if its on pole inline your not able to do this same if using an aquadapter.
