I`ve put a lot of thought,time and some effort into my response and "rinsing on" is not actually rinsing or not as we know it Jim.I think you need great care with this approach lest you outspeed gravity.

er...OK...so, taking that approach, roughly what percentage of the time do you end up rinsing brush on versus off?  That's the point of the question.

i usually rinse with the brush off but ive doing an experiment to see what results are like with brush on the glass , because at the moment trying to get the best results with fan jets no complaints at the moment. interesting topic though

I mostly rinse brush off mainly so im sure all dirt  cobwebs etc is off the glass but do velex windows mostly on the glass but rinse for longer to make sure
find it easier to do velux windows this way as its less strain on the arms and you dont get over spray

I find it hard rinsing with the brush off the glass especially when your 4 floors high !!! Always leave bush on glass when rinsing windows come out lovely !!!

Brush on , except beading Windows's that leave a trail where your brush has been , and first cleans.

i tend to rinse brush on above ground floor to save my arm strength but i dont mind lifting my light weight pole off th eglass on the groundfloor!
