Lol me and the mrs are cracking up here. Without blowing my own trumpet I have 2 solid rounds all from canvassing that prob turn over more in a day than you do in a week. If that's a fail in your eyes I'd love to know what succesful is?? Not that you will tell me as that was your last comment on the subject.

I will just clarify one last point then off out for the day, I didnt say you were a failure mick, I know from our previous chats that you do ok....

I said you failed as a canvasser, you had a high cancellation rate and had to do a load of work for nothing so you knocked it on the head and started your own round.... All from our previous chats so I am not just making this up....

Thu Mick I thought 5 quid is low but suppose it depends on your pricing structure if u go in at 8-10 quid 3 bed semis and people agree to cleans without really being talked into it and can sign say 8-10 in 3 hour slot then that's fine.

I personally go in bit higher average price prob 13-14quid so they get 9 quid a customer but prob not as many on

Exactly I'm glad you think the same. It sounds low but your forgetting all the canvasser is doing is spending 2-3 mins at a door signing up a new clean for say £10. for example getting 10 in 3 hours as an average would cost me £50 where as if I was paying gd it would cost me £200 + expencies. All for 3 hours work. Excuse me if I'm wrong but £50 for 3 hours work for someone with no qualifications isn't bad at all. I wouldn't mug myself off paying someon £200+ expencies for 3 hours just knocking on doors for unestablished work.

Just because I had a high cancelation rate didnt make me a failure. I was so much bigger than you having 2 cars and 8 canvassers working for me where as you are a 1 man band. Before you judge just sit and imagine building someone up a 4k round and after paying the canvassers you find £1000 has dropped out. You will have to fork out 2k back to the window cleaner or replace them customers without getting paid twice for them. I decided enough was enough and to build myself up. You as a 1 man band won't have half the amount of probs as you will get Quality calls where as if you had 8 guys canvassing for you they just want to get paid so will get any old crap and promise the world to customers. This is all proven hence all the canvassing companies never last.

Yourself, your wife, adult family, friends - in that exact order - get the best results for canvassing domestic window cleaning work.

The real prob is many of us don't enjoy all the "no's" to get to the yesses.

It's a game of three halves!
