cleaning a new site yesterday and jack the lad site labourer sprayed all the upper floors and down stairs windows and frames with a hose stating it shouldnt take you long to do these as Ive washed the frames and windows  for you [bless him]
I  then told him I use pure water not tap water [as it marks the windows] whilist drying
 GULP OF AIR many sorry misters later
After explaining it would be ok cus the pure water will remove the tap water if I rince well he seem relieved.
He asked me loads of questions as well as WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT RAINS
YOU CAN STILL CLEAN as Ihave done in the past [without a complaint or losing a customer] but rain and snow is purer than tap water.

now that labourer is a bonus cus he has the keys to the houses and has to lock up at night. so if you can clean after tap water all you new ones to w/f/p no sitting down when its raining get out and clean.

anyone else cleans in the rain?

Unless it is torrential rain we keep on going.

Probably had a dozen complaints in the 15 years I have cleaned in the rain.

I don't clean domestic in the rain as they always seem to moan about it.

But i have quite a bit of commercial and the only thing that would stop me cleaning them is a hurrican or lightning.

Never yet had a complaint from my commercial customers about cleaning in the rain.

OK so what difference does it make if you clean the windows in
 the morning then it rains?? most of the customers are out they wouldn't know if you had done them in the rain or not or in the afternoon!!!!!so what difference dos it make.Weve been cleaning for 20 years plus might have lost one or two customers but at least we are going home with some money which is better you decide?? Most of my older customers seem to detest window cleaning in the rain, even drizzle.

I have said that if they are not happy I'll re clean for free but most of them say come again when it is dry.  boo hiss.   Alot of my customers are of the younger generation and tend to be more than happy for me to carry on.  If it is really belting down then I'll call it a day and go door knockng or try and get some gutter cleans in.

I have recently changed over to wfp and plan on cleaning come rain or shine.
