Wand valve service kits?
« on: June 06, 2012, 09:04:09 pm »
Hello

I have a CFR TM hose... the one you buy with the 3" tool and the white plastic spacer just below the o ring in the piston valve is split.
Went to the Amtech site and they want £13 +VAT for  the complete kit as shown
Anyone know where i can just buy the spacer and o rings from?

Cheers

Russ

Piston is the second item in

No.
They are usually replaced at the same time so everything fits together.

Replace it all as one.  If one bit has worn to the point of failing, there's no point putting a brand new little bit in amongst a load of other old bits.  The spring might go next week.  The brass part might be worn so even brand new o-rings don't seal properly.... silly to screw around with these things, especially using them with plenty of heat/pressure.

£13 is peanuts, have a word with yourself :)

Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.
