As the title suggests really. Looking to add window cleaning as an add on to carpet and upholstery cleaning.

I understand canvassing may be the way forward. Would be looking at hiring someone to do this for me.

Also I put out about 5000 leaflets a month for carpet cleaning which eventually sees an enquiry rate of six per thousand. Is it a similar return for window cleaning?

Leaflet response is from 0.5% to 1% or if lucky 1.5% for window cleaning so in theory 5000 leaflets will get you your 50.

However if you canvass door to door you probably get there in a solid week of door knocking.

Thanks for your reply Ian. By the sounds of your reply will be a lot easier than carpet cleaning to build a round.

I was going to get 5000 new leaflets printed with carpet cleaning one side and window cleaning the other. Hopefully keep my current rate of carpet cleans with a slightly better rate for windows. Also thinking of combining leaflets with canvassing and I should be in profit in roughly three months? X

be really lucky to get 50 custies of 5000 leaflets.

my guestimate would be 20/25 max

im on a big leaflet drop at the minute and not getting 50 pr 5k , even with A3 triple folds....

it really is a numbers game , more you drop , more you get.simples

mind you , every leaflet custy is a good one.imho
