I wouldn't bother mate, pay someone who does websites for a living you'll get a much more professional look and they don't really cost that much, stick to what you do best and clean windows.....let someone else do it  ;)

By the way, I'm aware of the few mistakes on there that need changing, still not complete but insisted it went live ASAP

I beg to differ mate my site might not be the best . but i think it looks pretty good and it did'nt cost me a penny its an advertising piece .

This week i have picked some work up from it . I do need to get some better pics on their and tweak it a bit more but i can do that on my own as many times as i want and all for FREE .  Mike

trouble is a lot of these so called web designers are after a quick buck and run you off a site with photos of other people and boring wording.   usually they have a photo of a man wearing a hi-viz jacket  but you never see his face  ;D  its all lies

Every one has a different view some like to do their own sites and some would rather have a design company do their site.

Lets be honest some of the sites that have been done by designers on here are rubish you get what you pay for if you have a very small budget you would be better doing one your self  ;) ;)

My site was done january this year and  to be honest it could benifit from some more pages but for now its fine.

Next year i will get another design company to do me a secure site with 4-5 pages

1, Home page

2, Services offered type page

3, Advanced online quote page

4, a payments page with sage payments bank details paypal payments ect  ;) ;)

5, a page telling customer about the charity work i will be doing marathon ect

it all comes down to if they work imo, you can have the slickist looking website but if it is not seen on search engines then it is just a badge of vanity, unless you are only targeting your own customers.

Good luck with the run mate, cancer is a hurtful disease that I sadly know about all to well  >:(
