Commercial WFP oppertunity
« on: May 04, 2012, 07:44:25 pm »
I been offered a commercial 'round' which brings in £2000 a month. What would I be looking to pay for this?

Its in the early stages of negotiations and am looking for a rough price I should pay for it, as they havent yet said what they want for it.

Cheers

Question One: Why's it up for sale?
It's a game of three halves!

I'd be looking at the vendor with very thin eyes whilst stroking my chinny chin chin and asking the same question as Gold.

I think it's one of them gut feeling situations. You need to establish that the work is genuine, how good the work is and how long he's been doing it. Then once your armed with all the facts I'd sleep on it and see what you gut tells you. Only you know 1) If you can afford it and 2) how much you think its worth to you.

i would feel happier buying a domestic round than a commercial, just depends on how much he wants

My first question would be how much is it? , if he is serious to sell it he would have told you already , my guess is he is just wondoering how much he could get for it , dont waste your time on it or show any interest until there is a price and a clear deal on the table , people do this all the time , whether it is their round , their van , their record collection etc.

talk to the client themselves before you part with any money
