Isn't time that there is a benevolent fund set up for the families of window cleaners, when tragic events like this happen?

Perhaps if there was a fund, where we either paid a fixed monthly amount, or a small donation from each job ??

nice idea, but this is where we should all be covered by insurance, its a choice, some are and some arent

I'm insured, but I'm not sure it'll make a small payment to my family at a time in need..........but it will pay out if I damage their property

each insurance is differant and it can be added on or maybe a new policy would be needed, but it all depends what you want, even though im not on the tools as often as i was im stilll insured for accident or death, its all on one policy,

I have life insurance - costs about £15.00 per month for £100,000.00 of life cover, it won't ever benefit me, but should a claim ever arise hopefully it is some form of peace of mind for my wife and children from a financial point of view. It does make you think every time you hear one of these sad stories that you should never take health and safety for granted, sad sad story.
