Thx for the heads up m8 on the gps tracker for leafletters.
mine went out today with one in his pocket.
dropped him at 7.30 returned at 5pm.

plugged in the tracker and BINGO.
i can see absolutley  everwhere hes been inc the wasteland & bushes for a pee lol.

anyone using leafletters should get one of these they are awesome.
you can accuratley plot there days and the very nature of it upon them guarantees the leaflets go out rather than in the bin.

Theres a whole host of iPhone android apps which would do the same. A lot of the running apps have a built in tracker you can follow and check where someone is and has been/time, etc

he did 800 yesterday
and 550 today.
areas are all different so have to accept this , some are all really easy drops ,others are up inclined drives/steps etc.
all you can do is plan the proposed route ( which im doing now lol)
load him up ,drop him and wait till hes done. everyday is different monday was 5pm tuesday was 3pm ,they cannot walk forever lol
he has dropped 1350 so far in 2 days and got 9 new custys on day 1 & 2.
i pay mine £30 a day for 3 days each week . i drop him at 7.30 each day and see what happens, yesterday i had an enquiry at 7.45 = RESULT
The tracker was £20 from maplins and worth every penny as i have a google maps image of all areas covered.
i also plan the routes via google maps .

the thx is all perfect windows m8 he posted the originsl post.

as for recruiting mine is a free paper man and hes never earned so much money lol

if he wasnt so ugly lol id have him canvassing.

Most stores will have sold out of the tracker  - it is listed on the website as 'while stocks last' - so If you want one I'd order soonish

I thought it was a good idea too, mine was dispatched yesterday ;D

Thanks Vin, that's what I like about forums - every so often there is a gem of an idea

mine arrived in 3 days :)

absolutley belting down here so leafletters not going today   :'(  nor me   :'( :'( :'(  2 days behind now   :'( :'(

delivered they are about 10p each inc leaflet price. ( A3 FOLDED ) So not cheap but they get the results.

imho leaflet custys are the best to aquire as they have done the legwork to enquire.

canvassings the quickest route but not always the best.

The software for the tracker is PC only, so if u got a mac , u need parralels/vmware.
and make sure you find the LED guide online or you will not know whats on/off etc.

How do you keep a track of how many are delivered? My leaflets are in a box, I grab a handful and only have a very vague idea of how many there are.

Also, do you give him a set route to deliver, or a rough idea of what vicinity you want done?

Thanks for any info
