Alltec advance 600psi Yay or Nay
« on: April 23, 2012, 08:01:26 pm »
Hi guys, anyone own a Alltec advance 600psi? What do you think of it?
Would you recommend buying one? how many lengths of hose can you use on one? looking to buy a machine that leaves me the option of leaving it on the van to clean when i want to, so 3 lengths-ish i guess.

Is it the triple motor version you are looking at?

75ft is a a bit much for a standard twin but it can be done with good wand technique and pressure around 200, the tripple vac Advance would do it though. You might even consider using a booster vac unit like the Air Hog http://www.wcsuk.com/acatalog/Mytee_7303_Air_Hog.html on a standard twin. Otherwise an Airflex Storm or Turbo or a Jaguar would fit the bill.

Have the twin vac and whilst nothing along the same lines to compare as this was our first bigger machine I can't fault it.

When looking to buy I had narrowed it down to the Ninja and this and have never regretted it. It looks so much better and as said I can't fault the performance.

Weight wise the only time it's an issue is when there are stairs involved but I now tend to leave the machine outside at ground level and use as much hose as required running through top floor window. Apart from that it is easy to handle / manouvre.

After buying I did notice a machine that was dual use (HWE & Bonnet) but it's been a while and I can't recall details. I have to admit it looked the part and a few on here did own one and were happy with it, sorry for the lack of detail.

I Purchased 2 Advance x3's for commercial work where a truckmount can't reach. I only have one as a backup now. I think It all depends on where you stand on water lift/CFM' est est...

I dont know how other's feel about this but I think both at the right ratio are desirable & are more possible as portys' improve.
Machines like the Airflex & the new Jaguar  have really made a vast improvement  with these new 6.6 motors. paired up with a good pump, machines like these make choice more easy mabye?

My first post/comment on this site - dont want to say anything out of line..

Basically - research enough to form a good fundamental understanding of how an extraction unit works and then you can approch the companies who are promoting their product with the right questions 2 make an informed comparison based on accurate info not from a sales pitch (not that all who sell do..)

Hows that  :-\

Matt,
So is the triple Advance a worthwhile machine or not?

A Jaguar is a lot cheaper and probably better.
Not so pretty tough but since when did your customers sit and gaze at your machine??
When did they even take any notice at all?

The thing about Cleanitup is we like controversy  as along as it is not libelous or slanderous or someone plugging a product.

The new 6.6 motors are the ones to go for at the moment so thats a jag and an airflex.
I dont know much about the pumps on the jag. But the pumps on the airflex very good.
In first place for me would be the airflex.

Best mention CFR Eco500 and Powr-Flite PFX1085 too as they are similarly equipped.

Jaime

Can the powr-flite run 2" hose and does it still run on 2 cords with the 6.6s and inline heater
