wcw backpack issues
« on: May 01, 2012, 01:15:16 pm »
my backpack arived from wcw today,    seemed ok till i opened box,   shabby box,  scuff marks on body of backpack, scratches  can be seen,  water has been used through backpack,  is this the norm,    i was expecting a brand new item ,   this one looks second hand or reconditioned from warehouse.   reported my issues on condition of backpack to wcw,    paying top price £155  i expect item to be new,       any one had this happen to them. ::) :'(

I think my one was very slightly wet when I received it.
Presumed that they test them before sending to customer.
Never had any problems with it.

I got my backpack from same place , the box in which it came showed a picture of an 18 litre Battery Sprayer with a hand tool fitted like a garden sprayer. There are pictures of cabbages, plums and other veg. Looks to me like they get these items from China and re attatch a hose and stick on or print on WCW backpack.

yep same box,      can you let me know which microbore you have on your backpack from wcw,  i was expecting male to connect to my clx,  both same connections,     i think theres only ebay to purchase 16 / 18 mm microbore conectors.    do any national stores or plumming stores sell them     for quick supply.  cheers.  you  seem to put one foot forward   two steps back    ::)erting to WFP cleaning, :-*

Had on a couple of years with no problem. Not used for WC though.

In that state I'd email them and tell them you want a replacement.

How do wires leak? Was it leaking 12v power?
think he means the hose connector between bottom of backpack and pump leaks, and the wires come loose, both easily remedied if you take it apart and fix them.

thats right must learn to use commas, can be fixed but when you buy something new you dont expect to have to take it apart and modify it.

you have to buy bulk orders from suplier,     do they come with same spec,  or do wcw  add a bigger pump .if i wasnt happy id probably have to pay for return to wcw. they dont even let you know waranty on items fitted to backpack,
