Hose pipe ban, will this affect us?
« on: April 11, 2012, 01:12:19 am »
Hi guys,
I only clean hotel windows and read in the daily mail the other day that soon the government will be baning commercial car washes and window cleaners.

I use a electric trolley so plug into hotels water supply and use their eclectic.

Does anyone know if this might affect us windy's ??

Cheers

Without meaning to be rude, take the Daily Mail, find someone you hate, and stuff it where the sun don't shine.

These papers only have two things in mind.

1: to sell as much advertising as possible which is dependant on circulation figures.

2: to create 'fear' because 'worry' is what concerns most people hence the 'must buy a newspaper' to see what horror or what disaster is about to happen or has happened.

So the government will soon be banning car washes and window cleaners.... yawn....

So how long in the future is 'soon' and who said so exactly, and when, and in what words, and how comes the 'government' knows what the weather will be in the future when the government paid for met office doesn't?

Harry - stop reading the newspapers. They are full of useless mindless manure designed to get you worried and buying tomorrows edition.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

Well said ross ;)

God forbid wfp pole was temporarily banned and we had to use ladders.

Whose gonna stop me buying a 5 litre bottle of mineral water from the supermarket and carrying on trad.

Even if someone said it wasn't allowed i would have to carry on, like everyone here i have to work.

I suppose if the customer said no i'd be in trouble  :'(

The hose pipe bans have really spiralled out of control on here this time.

Bit like the bird flu/swine flu pandemic.

Can't be much happening at the moment for the media.
