are you constantly looking for new work? i find thats the best way to keep your pecker up, any wasters who drop out dont bother me as new are being found all the time(by leaflets in my case)

I'm a newbie Clarkey and got a call to quote a house the other night off the back of a leaflet my wife posted;  a semi-det with a conservatory, I asked if they had a window cleaner....they said they had, he was using wfp and was doing a good job, we came out at the same price ~ in fact I was 2quid dearer....i was ready to say oh well ney bother, when the chap says "well you're more local and we prefer to support local guys" cant figure it myself....feel bad as the existing guys doing nothing wrong......like yourself.....only way to look at it is your probably picking up a bit more work locally to you than other guys.....swings and roundabouts, no?

not worth having as custys move on and get the statutory 2 more custys to replace . i find its best to become like a friend to the custys not just a guy who darts around there house a few minutes a month. ok it does suck a bit of time out of your day but it creates a rapport / bond that would be hard to break. on the other hand everyone loses custys to other wc its all part and parcel i'm sorry to say

We all lose customers from time to time but it's never easy to swallow when they cancel in quick succession - keep canvassing and be confident of picking up a better priced one to replace  :)
