Why I love CIU
« on: April 25, 2012, 10:45:35 am »
there are some truly great posts on here that make me laugh out loud
Can lift your spirits when your sat at the desk, staring out the window at the rain lashing down-YOU are not alone in this business and its easy to forget.
Good to share the good/bad days together and some of the mishaps that befall us all :D
we succeed because others can't or won't

yeh its not all glamour this window cleaning lark!its not all magic moments!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

BUT when you have a solid customer base, are well established, emergency fund built up.the odd day off here and there due to weather.its not a big deal!

i used to get frustrated and well peed off with it especially when i was in debt with a poor round(which id neglected for years due to other issues) but things are much better these days.

even when i was off for nearly 4 weeks on crutches this time last year,or when we had all that snow before xmas a couple of years ago,and who can forget the freak snow in january the year before that.i was fine!easily enough money in the bank to cover bills and just got out and did a bit here and there when i could.

is does help being on here and realising your not alone.some of the posts during the snow where some of the guys on here were nearly going out of business and struggling makes me realise where ive come from.

years of alcoholism, drug addiction, broken relationships, debts that i thought id never pay off, losing customers and generally living a wretched sick life.things are good today!! :D :D :D

best wishes to you all
