...was out canvassing talking to an elderly lady about the wfp system etc.....doubted I was getting through as she looked a bit crazy - like John Cleese in a head scalf, after waxxing lyrical for five minutes she then tells me she has a window cleaner, does her and Doris & Hilda across the road......charges 6 quid, then says "yeah but he only does the grass and doesnt touch the bushes" classic.

I went but once the oldie forget what when an so on because she was in and out so where did I went? Was what you got the same at teatime? I think same day wtf?

about 6 years ago this old lady owed me 3 months for her windows. She gave me £1 and told me to keep the change then shut the door. The bungalow was £3 a month but she'd given me 30p. I knocked on the door again and explained she owed me £9 and not 90p. She laughed when she realised her mistake. She still laughs  :oabout it now.

i have had a cheque made out in shillings about a year ago!

the old lady still owes me £30 but i just decided to stop calling as she had lost her marbles so bad  it was a difficult situation


second thoughts i might send one of those debt collection letters?

ive got a few who have gone down hill lately both mentally and physically
even though i see them regular the gaps are long enough where you can see the
differences always saddens me as i can tell they are quickly approaching the end
game
