Right, Well it looks like I am about to find myself in the market for a new ladder doesn't it? Throughout most of my trad days my ladders were not the best. But I'm older now and feel the wobbles a lot more.

So whats hot in the ladders world these days? I would have thought a 24ft triple sounds about right but I see quite a few of the WCs round here use A frames. Educate me

Got to say I agree with you on the tripple and alot of jobs you can just use two section's on many places, save the back, and some ladder mitts with articulated feet

I always used 3.5 mtr youngmans trade ladders with articulated feet anything higher than later does not get done always go for the best its your life its holding.
p.s why are you getting ladders dont you like wfp anymore ?

i use a 3.5 m trade aluminium 2 section ladder and ive also got an 8ft single pointer(ideal for unlocking the odd gate!!).

used for the odd flat roof and splitting for going over high side gates.

A frame every time.

I don't know why any window cleaner, and especially someone's who's 100% trad, would use the standard H frame style ladder when an A frame has every advantage and none of the disadvantages.

Thanks, I still like WFP its just the water people who won't after April 5th.  Why worry just go back to trad for a while and see what happens.

Ive just purchased a 3.66m closed, A-Frame wooden ladder from Lansfords. Its a beauty and probably the last ladder I'll be buying. Should see me for another 15 year i reckon.

Mind at £366 inc vat and delivery it bloody well should.

No I have never had to tell them that. But what I have done is collected a lot of houses over the years that couldn't be done trad for various reasons.

There's only one set I'd even or ever consider and that's a Ramsay! super light and really strong will certainly get a good two to three years out of it with everyday usage

they do look light ,ramsay,  i once saw 2 sets ontop of  a merc diesel 250 . good combo id say, comfy ride big seats too
