Too much hassle imo, just buy a flat one.
Just out of curiosity, why dont you want an upright,
Ive a 500ltr upright much prefer it to a flat

I recently changed from layflat to upright. You get less movement of the water when on the move and it gives you more floor space in the van. I know you can put things on top of layflat tank but I just think upright tank is better.
