Im looking at re doing my leaflets to include prices so the leaflet can be used to quote for residential work.
please take no notice of prices, design or size as this is a very rough idea that im just playing with
Do you think this idea could work or not
THanks Paul

Is this so that customers can price there own house up?
My mate does quiet well by putting a flyer through the door with a price on. Im not sure if its because hes pretty cheap compared to most in his area though

Erith just go out and canvas instead of wasting money and time with leaflets. I tried leaflets round our area before with little success as so much competition round here. Im trying to get 2 more vans out this year and am hitting the streets hard for customers getting 5-10 a night after work for a few hours with 2 of us, I would have next to nothing if I relied on just leaflets alone. You have to chase the work coz it won't come to you.
Defo wouldn't put prices per window on leaflet as will affect minimum charge if just fronts or a tiny house etc. I try to just target £10 fronts. The way I see it is 400 x£10 victorian terrace fronts is a perfect solid round, if i was to price per window like you mentioned I'd only get £4-6 each front and work on a loss each month. We live in a prime area to have the ultimate round (10 mile radius).

I just write prices on the back of flyers if no one is in
It seem to work really well

I think it might be a little complicated. The problem could be at what point does a small window become a normal window, and at what point does a normal window become large?

I think is better to not put prices on, and when they ring you can sell them your service and price

Get better response with a priced leaflet personally.
Only use in,areas that I know though ie;council estates, n estates where houses are exactly same. Always put on though, if u hav conservatory, price will b extra

I like to look of the back, but as per previous replies I dont think its a good idea personally. Everywhere I have worked I have always been told to assume your customer is an idiot - don't expect them to work anything out and they will always try to rip you off one way or another.
I'm certainly no expert on the subject but i'm sure it would be better to tell them the price rrather than let them guess - if they guess high they may not bother calling, and if they guess low they may be pi**ed off when you correct them...
Any road, if you are getting calls asking you for the price you have already won havent you?

Collin good idea; maybe silly question how do you remember all different prices you've posted through potential custies doors.
I may have asked you this before on another thread
thanks lee
