As described in the tender specification, Pembrokeshire College is seeking
experienced and appropriately qualified contractors to tender for the
provision of a cleaning service for the college. The desired outcome of
this tender exercise will be the appointment of one contractor to
undertake the required service. The contract will be awarded upon
completion of a competitive tender which will follow the restricted
procedure (OJEU).
It is expected that any contract resulting from this tendering exercise
will commence as stated in the specification, (August 2012 – July 2015 –
plus an option to extend for a further 24 months subject to the agreement
of both parties).
To help contractors to fully understand the requirement at the earliest
possible stage of this process, a detailed specification, contractors’
code of practice, pricing schedule, guidance on how PQQs will be evaluated
and other relevant documents, including site plans, are included on a disk
which will be despatched with the PQQ.
Before completing the PQQ, please carefully study the specification,
accompanying documentation and especially the pass/fail questions included
in the PQQ to ensure that you have the capacity and capability to meet
this requirement.
