Fuel Cards
« on: December 24, 2005, 07:57:24 pm »
Hi All
Does anyone use fuel card to pay for all their fuel?
Some cards say on their web sites their cheaper than the pumbs is that true ???. Every little saving adds up.
I have 2 vans and the the car to fill up, that can be up to 10 times a month.
I guess as you only make 1 payment to the card company it would be a saving on bank charges too.
Any advise.
Thanks
Paul

Skweaky

In a former life we used to be hauliers and the secret to fuel cards was to have 2,3 or 4 companys on the go at once because they start of at a good price per litre and then go up month on month ,we used PCS fuelserv,CH Jones ( keyfeuls) , and another small company That I cant remember the name off  so use one for a month or two when the price goes up, phone them complain about how expensive they are , stop useing them and use another  within 30 days they send you a letter saying how their price has gone down then use them again and so on

Play them at their own game!

Hope this makes some kind of sense
