Week from hell-still not over!!
« on: January 27, 2012, 05:40:11 pm »
Last saturday i was on my way to nice little gutter clean, steady away for a saturday i thought.
Driving there i realised i wouldnt have diesel to get back (job in a village in middle of nowhere) so i went  back to the petrol station near my home,as i turned round there were an almighty bang from the back end of my van!
So i looked around, couldnt see owt so carried on,the same banging everytime i went over bumps.Had another look and the leaf spring had snapped! It was the final straw for this van-ive spent a fortune on it this last year!
So found another on the monday-messing around trying and failing to get finance etc. Finally got sorted and placed a deposit on Wednesday, the same day i ordered a brand new rhino roofrack-free 48hr delivery,so i get up this morning to clean my shops out my car,(1st and ONLY graft ive done all week) arrive home to find the courier at my door with what looks like my roofrack,excellent-back on glass on monday i thought as the van was ready to collect today also.Matey informs me 1 package is missing from my order (2pieces for raCK and box of fixings)
Great,i best ring them.
Ive never dealt with such thunderheads in my whole llife! they had no idea where the missing part of the rack was so said they would make enquiries and ring me back.
2 hours passed so i rung back-still being mongs,i started to get very angry-they were waiting on a call from the warehouse, they will ring back.
10mins later got a call saying the front of the rack had vanished and the piece would be with me by 12pm Monday.I was absolutely livid-and still am,unbelievable incompetence!!!! how are these people in business?!!!
Sorry for the long rant, but now monday will be a total loss as i'll be sat in waiting, then attempting to fit the thing with no help (my dad was round today and could have helped! >:( )
So there,that feels abit better!
