not been doing this that long . but general opinion of most custys is they want the cheapest cost for doing there windows, anyhow i was cleaning one of my custys the other day and a neighbour came out and asked would i be interested in doing their house i said sure so agreed on a bimonthly he asked how much? i thought it would take about 30 to 40  minutes so i said 35 quid he then said  oh are you sure i thought it would be more and then he said try the first clean and if you want more let me know i wish all custys were made this way so my nickname for him is carlsberg ;D ;D ;D

What size house is it, how do you manage to charge £35 for a 40 minute job? I think I'm doing this wrong!

i wasn't bothered if i got it or not tbh . it was a bonus if i did its got about 20 windows , its a nice house and wealthy custys i got on well with them sorted of hit it off straight away they spelled out what they expected of me so priced according . the previous wc got the bullet for cutting down some shrubs that grew up the wall so he could get to a window then had the cheek to charge them for it . didn't go down to well his loss my gain  ;D

You need to ask him if all his family was brought up in the same way? Get their details and get them on the books too ;D

I am new to it but i would have said £20. I'm based in North Herts so perhaps more?

i would have said that when i first started but you soon get wise . thing is if you add up all the money you have spent on getting started.  van /.equip./ insurance /office /adverts/ cards/ ink /water    you need to charge properly too recoup the money , you could be in danger of doing stuff at cost . not good business. everyone makes mistakes . me more than most but you do need to learn fast imo

concept

Don't know if you're near st Albans, but minimum £20 a clean there I have seen.
