250ltr system...
« on: January 24, 2012, 08:36:31 pm »
My 250 system when I was using it, lasted me roughly 2/12 - 3 hours max, with the one pole being used.
Does this sound about right? if so, it is now for sale  ;D I havent got a pump controller, how much extra time roughly could I get out of it, if I bought one?

Errr you definately need a controller  I used to have a 175l tank and ok I used to trad alot more ground floor windows back then but I could get a whole days work done and i used to wfp ALL georgian or leaded windows. I now have a 300l tank and although ideally I would still like a bigger tank I can do 6/7 hrs 100% wfp from this...GET A CONTROLLER!
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

if you get 6mm hose and a flow controller you should be able to get  5 hours work out of 250L esp if you trad the odd ground floor windows and doors.get an aqua-daptor as well.

i use around 350L-400L on a full day.7 hours "on the glass" time.i have a high flow as i work faster with more water flow.sometimes the flow controller can be a bit dodgy and im out of water in 5 hours on full flow with no controller!!
price higher/work harder!

Yep definately get a flow controller - and a tap, aquadapter or other water stopping device
