What do you think of Teloscopic ladders, obviusly very compact but can you (or do you }use them alot.
can they be used to replace conventional ladderes .I am only really refering to domestic use and self employed.

I'm guessing you have insurance in place. Ring and ask your provider what they think about you using them should they fail and collapse or get dropped on something by accident. So long as they are certified to equivalent normal ladder I think you'd be fine.

A few guys on here use em, personally I prefer the full thing on top of van!

I've used mine 2 years so far. every day, getting over flat roofs, and the like really. between 2 and 6 times a day on average.

never felt safe compared to proper ladders, but handy and don't want roof racks and heavier bulky ladders to think about. so suits me. and not fallen off yet!

mine folds in the middle, so also doubles as a step ladder.

makes it a tad more wobbly tho, but I'm similar to ian, 6 foot 1 and 16 stone.

Telescopic ladders?

Does that mean he will be able to goose-step with larger strides or that he'll be able to look into our bedrooms looking for immigrants?

I use mine for con roofs only. ... they worth the weight in gold,  snap up, snap down throw them under one arm, in the van and off ,

there you go, one of the few serious answers. ;)

I have a set.

They are good for access on to flat roofs and gate hopping, don't take any room up in the van, they serve their purpose well!

I wouldn't wanna be up them all day tradding mind ;D
