One of those days
« on: February 09, 2012, 06:45:07 pm »
4 jobs yesterday so long day.
1st job decide to do stairs first so in with the pre spray
nothing doing......QC on lance frozen so into a bucket of
hot water and we're away.
Set up with hand tool and squeeze trigger and water
gushing out of plunger.
Strip it down 3 times before discovering that there's 2 o
rings on plunger where it sits in barrel and one of these
is damaged. Half an hour just about lost.
2nd job 3 piece in nice house, was left to it with a pot of
tea. Came up lovely, so much so that she re booked me
for tomorrow to do through lounge and 8x5 rug.
3rd job first floor lounge, in and out within the hour and
onto 4th job.
4th job arrived at 4.15pm and when it came to doing the
stairs no plastic sight panel on hand tool so useless.
Clearing up later decide I need the torch again after putting
it away once. But ah where did I put it away, no idea and
still not found it.
Customer's little girl found my sight panel and I'm off for it now.
Goodnight

I use CFR tools but my old original hand tool is basically now about 90% silver duct tape. I always have a roll with me.  :D

I have days like that, it's like the Gods are testing your patience and ingenuity. Feels good when you overcome them and the custy never knew there was a problem.  :)
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
