are solar panels self cleaning?

been asking some of my customers if i can clean there solar panels but told they were self cleaning.but i know someone who works for e o n and he reckons this is rubbish.any theory s pls
i promise never to cross over to the dark side of the road again.Dont believe the truth.

They can`t be self cleaning when it is not raining in the most productive time of the year summer time If you look at my website it explains when to get your solor panels clean  ;D ;D

oh thats why there dirty and the odd ones greening up!

mark m, do you just use a standard wfp brush or there is one for solar panels i beleive.

i started cleaning them about 6 years ago and just used a normal brush

i use a xtreme ( black brush )

lol all rubish, am getting more solar panel cleaning jobs every month, i never ever thought of solar panel cleaning before, but now i have loads on my books, thank god for bird sh&*% lol

There are a few threads running on Solar/PV systems.  Pure water is all that's needed despite what some companies might say, just make sure your covered under your insurance to work on them.

March to September is apparently the right time for a clean, twice yearly  :)
