what would you charge

ive been doing some work for this estate for a while now . they wanted to know what i would charge to clean the castles windows..... problem is wouldnt have a clue what to charge any help would be appreciated

£2/£3 per window at the lower end, but make sure your ins is spot on.
As it is prob a grade 1 listed building....  :P

i would thing so mate, just check their are no loop holes reguarding grade 1 listed buildings.
there may not be but i know what my luck can be like  :(

thanks mate i never thought about that .   i did an internal job just before xmas that required me taking down the secondary double glazing  . but couldnt , because knowing my luck id prob break something and i know ins wouldnt pay

i guess not many would attempt this   

I would at the moment, I would be very happy to have a go at it.

I would probably go in rock bottom on price, and make a meal of doing it right.

What I would ask for is as many recomendations for similar work that they know of, and maybe a testamonial on the website.

I used to wash the windows on a castle, every broken pane was counted and logged  before the job, and again afterwards. They can get a bit funny about it if you start wrecking the place.

There is some good work to be had on similar sites, but they are shy of letting people near them. Any exp you can show will be a good thing.

Just get stuck in and have a go.
